Ever popular mobile apps have been used by trend setters like Illinois Pro Bono to created useful apps to assist in the delivery of local pro bono services. Although this new technology is exciting and easy to use, developing such an app can be more costly than many organizations can afford. Recently we read about an approach taken by the State Bar of Georgia Pro Bono Project that uses Mobilezen to create a low-cost alternative that can be accessed through a mobile device. Visitors can find support and resources for pro bono lawyers, volunteer opportunities, read pro bono news and see upcoming events in their area.
