Prospective Law Students Favor Pro Bono Requirement

As more states move towards a mandatory pro bono requirement for admission to the bar, one voice is missing from the discussion – law students. What do students, and those thinking about entering the law, think about this professional obligation?

A recent survey by Kaplan Test Prep may have some answers. Of 750 pre-law students surveyed by the company in June, 68 percent said they support a rule mandating pro bono work before bar admission.
