Each year, the ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service Pro Bono Publico Awards honor individuals or organizations in the legal community that enhance the human dignity of others by improving or delivering volunteer legal services to the poor or disadvantaged. 2013 recipients were honored at a luncheon during the ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco. This is the first of a five-part series recognizing this year’s award winners.
Bruce B. Blackwell is a partner at the law firm of King, Blackwell, Zehnder & Wermuth P.A. in Orlando, Florida.
